Flu shots

The Morgan County Health Department encourages everyone age 6 months and older to get a flu shot. Our annual clinics provide a quick and easy way to get your vaccination. The flu shot still remains your number one way to prevent getting the flu.

Flu shots given by the Morgan County Health Department cost $0 out of pocket with most major insurances, including Medicare Part B and Illinois Medicaid. COVD-19 vaccine subject to availability.

As a reminder, the federal government has stopped purchasing COVID-19 vaccine. As a result it is no longer "free" to the general public.

The health department asks that individuals verify their insurance benefits and eligibility prior to seeking services. This will both “save time in line” for clients and help minimize unexpected out of pocket costs.

Verification of eligibility and benefits is the sole responsibility of the client prior to receiving services. HMO plans requiring a referral are the sole responsibility of the insured.

Failure to provide proof of insurance at the time of service is not proof of non-coverage. Clients will be asked to pay in full prior to receiving services. Individuals may also purchase flu shots for children & adults on site. Services payable via cash or check.
