Flu Bowl

Annual JHS Bowl Flu Clinic planned

October 5th and 6th

Jacksonville - The Morgan County Health Department will offer Flu immunizations at the Jacksonville High School Bowl on Thursday, October 5th from 1-6 pm and Friday, October 6th from 9am – 2pm.

This year your Morgan County Health Department will have Quadrivalent vaccine available for children and adults.  We are also pleased to announce that we will also offer High Dose Flu Vaccine for our 65+ senior population again this year.

Flu shots given by the Morgan County Health Department cost $0 out of pocket with most major insurances, including Medicare Part B and Illinois Medicaid.  The Morgan County Health Department is now contracted with several commercial insurance carriers.  We encourage all persons interested in receiving a flu shot to “save time in line” and contact your insurance company to verify that immunizations are a covered benefit of your plan and that the Morgan County Health Department is an in network provider.  Individuals may also purchase Quadrivalent flu shots for $38.00 or High Dose Flu shots for $60.00 each.  Services payable via cash, check or charge.

Morgan County Health Department encourages everyone age 6 months and older to get a flu shot.  Our annual clinic at the JHS Bowl is a quick and easy way to get your vaccination.  The flu shot still remains your number one way to prevent getting the flu.
